Quick matching is a priority for us so we hope you never need this article! Still, sometimes we get an unexpected rush of learners that throw our equilibrium out of balance and cause a wait.
This tends to be just 2 or 3 minutes so you shouldn't be waiting long, but you can check the following:
- Look for the "Chat with us" button in the lower right hand corner of your screen. This confirms that you're connecting during our live hours. If you don't see it, contact support@conversifi.com for information about our next availability.
- Check that your search is started and you see a countdown showing your estimated wait time. If you're not on this screen, you haven't initiated a call. Click the "Chat with us" button so our customer support team can tell you how to get started.
- If your counter has stopped (which is rare), please restart your search. But don't worry, our algorithm takes into account that you were already here searching, so won't lose your spot in line.
- Our matching algorithm gives preference to people who are making their first call of the day, so if you have already made a few, new users might be taking priority.
- Make sure your audio is ON so you can hear the ringtone which lets you know that a partner is available. It's important to know that you have to manually accept a call in order to start the conversation. If you're away from your device when the ringtone sounds, and/or you don't pick up the call within 30 seconds, you'll return to the queue and connect with the next partner available.
If after checking all those steps, your wait time is longer than 3 minutes, please contact our support team through the chat. Our agents will help you and will make sure you connect with a partner.
