Faia, our friendly chatbot, is here to help you warm up, build confidence, and practice your vocabulary anytime you want!
Step 1: Make sure your chatbot access is set up
First, check that your chatbot subscription fee has been paid.
- In some cases, this fee is already included in the coupon provided by your instructor.
- If not, go to the Payment tab and select “Pay for chatbot access” to complete your subscription.
Your chatbot subscription is valid for the entire term, it lasts through the end of the section code you’re currently using.
You can check your section code’s validity anytime in the Profile tab.
Step 2: Start your session with Faia
- Click on the “Learn” button.
- Choose the module you’d like to practice.
- Click on “Practice with AI”
Faia will start the conversation at the same level as your module, so if you choose a beginner module, your chat will begin at the Beginner level. Hold the microphone button or press the space bar to speak.
Switch levels anytime:
During your conversation, you can switch between Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced whenever you want.
Faia will adjust to your new level for the next question, and you can switch back and forth as often as you’d like.
Ending the conversation:
Faia will let you know when the conversation is coming to an end. When that happens, just click the “End Call” button to return to the home page.
You can also end the conversation at any time if you prefer.
